Things to Bring Check

Your stuff should fit in a large backpack and you should bring the following for this trip (check each one off list as you prepare):
  1. _____ One NICE dress outfit for our interviews with political leaders
(boys = dress shirt + tie + dress pants, dress shoes)
(girls = nice dress or skirt and blouse, dress shoes, stockings if you wish)
  1. _____ 2-3 pairs Light and loose long pants
  2. _____ 2-3 pairs shorts
  3. _____ 6 t-shirts (girls: no revealing clothes – we won’t let you wear it.)
  4. _____ socks and underwear for each day
  5. _____ Garbage bag for storing dirty clothes
  6. _____ Bathing suit
  7. _____ Towel
  8. _____ Personal toiletries
10. _____ Hiking boots and socks which can get wet and muddy
11. Comfortable tennis shoes or sandals
12. Wet shoes or sandals for walking on river rocks
 (NOT flip flops)
13. _____ Insect Repellant
14. _____ Water Bottle
15. _____ Work gloves
16. _____ Sun Screen
17. _____ Light jacket (a thick over shirt will do as well)
18. _____ Light Plastic Rain Poncho
19. _____ Some cash ($50) for emergencies and up to $100 for souvenirs
20. _____ A camera
21. _____ A small flashlight
    22. _____ Any personal medication you need – Speak to Ms. Musto
23. _____  US passport: 
 a. bring actual passport plus one copy of picture page
 b. Leave a copy of picture page at home in Pittsburgh
(in case of theft)
